USDi is an inflation-indexed USD stablecoin issued by USDi Partners LLC, formed in mid-2024 and based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The ERC-20 token tracks the US Not-Seasonally-Adjusted CPI using the TIPS reference-CPI interpolation method against a base CPI of 315.605 (base date March 1, 2025), so each token preserves the purchasing power of a December 2024 dollar. Whitepaper discloses a very small transaction fee on public mint/burn (size not published) and that the backing fund has outperformed CPI by roughly 5-13bps per month net of fees; excess return over the CPI-indexed liability accrues to overcollateralization/the issuer.
